Tra tutti i nuovi film che sfruttano il rinnovato "appeal" delle fiabe, Hansel & Gretel: Witch Hunters è quello che sembra promettere le cose migliori.
Tratto, ovviamente, dalla nota fiaba dei fratelli Grimm, il film racconta la storia di Hansel e Gretel (interpretati rispettivamente da Jeremy Renner e Gemma Arterton) che, una volta cresciuti, diventano cacciatori di taglie, con una spiccata specializzazione nella caccia alle streghe. Will Ferrell, Chris Henchy, Adam McKay e Kevin J. Messick produrranno the film (and this is the best news!) will be entrusted to the director Tommy Wirkola, known for fun Dead Snow.
